Blues linked with Arsenal star and Morrison is tipped to join QPR

QPR manager Harry Redknapp is poised to sign Ravel Morrison on loan from West Ham, according to The Sun.

Morrison, a pre-deadline target for Fulham, has fallen out of favour at Upton Park and is reportedly set to end the season elsewhere.

A Hammers source is quoted as saying: “He’ll go on loan to a top Championship side as he needs to be playing and his style of play doesn’t fit in with the way we are playing at the moment.”

The Mirror say Morrison is also wanted by Rangers’ Championship rivals Leicester and Derby.

But Sky Sports report that West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has played down the chances of Morrison joining the R’s.

Allardyce said: “At the moment, Rav is still complaining about the problem that he had before Christmas to say he has got these rumbling groin problems.

“At the end of the day, he is going to have to decide if he goes for the hernia operation or not, and the answer keeps being no – he doesn’t need it.

“What we have got to do is get him back training and back in the squad. I haven’t heard any rumours any other way in terms of what is happening with Rav.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been linked with Arsenal’s Bacary Sagna.

The Star claim he could join the Blues or Manchester City after rejecting the Gunners’ offer of a new deal.

Sagna, 30, is reported to have told team-mates that he will be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season.
