Chelsea fans on Twitter have been compiling their wishlist ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
The Blues have been tipped to add to their squad following a return of just four points from the first four games – their worst start to a league season since 1971.
Many supporters are keen for Chelsea to break the stalemate with Everton over John Stones and have suggested other stellar signings, including Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, Antoine Griezmann, Koke, Axel Witzel and even QPR’s Charlie Austin.
We really need to hurry up and sign stones and pogba 👀 #CFC

#CFC should just sign Koke for £60mil and not waste time with Pogba.

I would take Charlie Austin at Chelsea not bad for 15 mil English and will score goals ! — Stewarty (@Purdy0823) August 31, 2015
But the latest player to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is far from a household name.
Nantes’ Papy Djilobodji has been tipped to join Chelsea and, while many fans were left scratching their heads and checking Wikipedia, others gave the Senegalese a glowing reference.
For the ones that haven’t seen Papy Djilobodji play.. He is a solid player and very quick. Exactly like Zouma. Bargain for €3.5m.. — Uber Chelsea FC (@UberCheIseaFC) August 31, 2015
