Chelsea fans on Twitter call for midfield change

Many Chelsea supporters on Twitter have criticised boss Guus Hiddink for his defensive line-up for the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Diego Costa came to the rescue with an injury-time equaliser, after United had had the upper hand and taken the lead through Jesse Lingard.

Many Blues fans were unhappy at Hiddink for deploying both Nemanja Matic and John Mikel Obi together in the centre of midfield, while Eden Hazard was a substitute.

Oscar playing in a wide role is a common bone of contention among Blues fans, with many wanting to see the Brazilian moved back into the middle.

    hazard Oscar. William

    fabrigas mikel

    azplicuta. ivanovic

    Terry. Cahill

coatuar. is the best formation no more defending game again.

  • To partner the two at a match against Man U is right but against Watford?, we need to be more expansive against Watford, Newcastle etc. The most woeful lineup is Oscar on the wings. Totally ineffective. Hazard, Kenedy, Remy would give better performance all day. I also feel Pedro should top strike more than from midfield.
I wonder when Kenedy, Lotus cheek, Bertrand, Pato Maizga would play. We are no longer going to make the top four, why not use more youngsters like Baba in league games while playing the strongest in Cup games
