QPR manager speculation: Jol linked with job

A round-up of the latest speculation over who might take over at QPR…

QPR are considering appointing former Fulham and Tottenham boss Martin Jol as their new head coach, the Daily Mail claims.

Rangers are compiling a list of candidates and there is currently no frontrunner, but inevitably there is speculation about who will take over.

Jol has not had another job in football since being sacked by Fulham in December 2013.

The Mail reckon the Dutchman, who turns 60 in January, is a potential successor to Chris Ramsey.

Reports in Italy, meanwhile, link another Dutchman – former Real Madrid and Inter Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf – with the role.

The 39-year-old briefly managed another of his former clubs, AC Milan, for less than five months in early 2014.
