Fans on Twitter react to speculation over the future of keeper Green

QPR fans on Twitter have been discussing Rob Green’s future amid speculation linking the goalkeeper with a return to his former club West Ham.

There have been reports that the Hammers are keen to re-sign the 35-year-old, although Rangers have not received an approach and head coach Chris Ramsey has said he does not believe Green will leave.

Some supporters though were questioning Green’s place after the 2-2 draw with Cardiff on Saturday.

Green spent six seasons at Upton Park prior to his move across London, and many West Ham fans seem quite keen to have him back, particularly after Adrian’s sending off against Leicester at the weekend and the performances of stand-in keeper Darren Randolph.

QPR remain on the look out for a keeper following Alex McCarthy’s move to Crystal Palace, and Huddersfield’s Alex Smithies is target after attempts to sign Southend’s Daniel Bentley stalled.

Huddersfield fans seemed torn on whether the deal would be good for their club.
