Green apologises on Twitter after QPR defeat
Rob Green posted on Twitter after being sent off in QPR’s 2-1 home loss against Nottingham Forest, saying he was sorry for being the “catalyst” for the defeat.
Rangers were leading 1-0 when their goalkeeper conceded a penalty and was sent off for pulling down striker Chris O’Grady after failing to control a back-pass.
It was only the second time Green, 35, had been sent off in his long career. [phone][/phone]
