Transfer gossip: More Austin speculation and Bees are linked with duo

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Brentford and QPR…

Brentford have been linked with moves for Norwich midfielder Louis Thompson and Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw.

The Daily Mail claims the Bees are among number of clubs keeping an eye on both players ahead of the January transfer window.

Prolific striker Bradshaw, 23, is said to be a target not only for Brentford but also their former manager Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers, Cardiff City, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham and Preston.

Thompson, 20, has been on loan at Swindon this season having not played for Norwich since his move from Wiltshire, and the Mail suggests both Brentford and Blackburn Rovers are keen to take him in the new year.

The Sun believes any attempt by Aston Villa to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin could hinge on their form over the next few weeks.

Villa, who are bottom of the Premier League, have been linked with an £8m bid for Austin in January but it is claimed that he would not sign for them if they are in danger of relegation.
