Former Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray and ex-Manchester United defender Jaap Stam are the latest names to be linked with Fulham’s managerial vacancy.
The Daily Mirror claims Gray is leading contender after the Whites failed to land Reading’s Steve Clarke.
The 55-year-old, who has also been a caretaker-boss of Aston Villa, Wolves, Burnley and Portsmouth, has been out of work since being sacked by Wednesday in the summer.
Meanwhile, reports in the Netherlands suggest that Stam – currently coaching Ajax’s reserve team – has been identified as a target by Fulham chief football officer Mike Rigg.
Another Dutch international, Clarence Seedorf, has previously been mooted.
Former Brentford boss Mark Warburton, also being considered by Fulham, has been offered a pay rise and increased transfer funds to keep him at Glasgow Rangers, the Daily Express believes.
Warburton tweeted to distance himself from rumours linking him with the Whites, but the Express suggests the Scottish giants are concerned he could be tempted to return to London and will make more money available for January signings.
However, former Fulham captain Danny Murphy has told TalkSport he does not expect to be asked, as he believes the club want someone with experience.

The Fulham problem is not the manager's post but that of Mike Rigg.
We will not regain our pride and success while Rigg stays with the club. Remove Rigg and we might stand a chance of attracting a good manager. This can be seen from the farce that has taken place over the past 3 weeks, nobody wants to come while he is there in that position. Khan must understand this if are going to have a chance to move forward.
