Fulham face a strong Boro side but we fancy Bees to beat Reading

Fulham travel to Teesside this weekend and a meeting with fellow promotion candidates Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

Boro are a shade of odds-on (17/20) to get back to winning ways after drawing their last couple of league games, including a frustrating 1-1 draw with bottom-of-the-table Blackpool in midweek.

Fulham are 15/4 to take all three points, with the draw 13/5.

Back-to-back Championship wins has seen Kit Symons cut to 1/2 to be appointed the next permanent Fulham manager, with Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola 5/2 and Chris Hughton 8s.

The Whites are now 12/1 (from 16s) to be promoted and 5/1 to finish the season in the top six at BetVictor.

And with everyone beating each other in the Championship, perhaps the Whites have got their bad period out of the way.

Boro are genuine promotion possibilities though, especially with Patrick Bamford leading the line, and the Chelsea loanee is 11/2 to score the opener, with Ross McCormack 7/1.

Brentford went down to a wonder-strike from Matej Vydra at Watford, which was hard to stomach given that they deserved at least a point from an entertaining game.

Reading visit Griffin Park on Saturday with the hosts 13/10 favourites, the Royals 9/4 and the draw 5/2.

The Bees would leapfrog Reading in the table with a win and 13/10 looks a very fair price given the visitors are without a win in four in all competitions.
