Speculation over Fulham’s manager search

A round-up of the latest speculation over who might take over as Fulham boss…

Oscar Garcia and John Carver are the latest names to be linked with the vacant manager’s job at Fulham.

Uwe Rosler, Nigel Pearson and Paul Lambert are all being considered as the club draws up a shortlist following the sacking of Kit Symons.

The Evening Standard believes Garcia, formerly of Watford and Brighton, has also been added to that list.

The Spaniard took Brighton to the Championship play-offs in 2014 but his time at Watford was cut short after just four weeks following health problems.

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, suggests Carver is interested in taking over at Craven Cottage.

The 50-year-old took charge of hometown club Newcastle for the final four months of last season, but won just three of his 20 games.

Carver has also been caretaker boss of both Leeds and Sheffield United, while also spending 14 months as manager of Toronto FC.
