Fernandes tells fans QPR are a ‘work in progress’ after Cardiff draw

Tony Fernandes described QPR as “a work in progress” after their 2-2 draw against Cardiff.

The Rangers co-chairman was unable to attend the game at Loftus Road, where Cardiff came back from two down.

A last-minute equaliser denied the home side their first league win of the season but Fernandes insisted a draw was still a decent result.

Cardiff’s fightback meant it turned out to be a disappointing home debut for Massimo Luongo and Ben Gladwin, but the summer signings were quick to thank R’s fans.

  • No chance of a top 6 finish long hard season ahead. Lots of empty seats and when we lose austin can't see where the goals are going ro come from.

  • Im sorry to be the one to stop the work in progress attitude. This team has the look of relegation couldnt put 3 passes together yes we made chances but our ball retention was pathetic and im sorry chery should never have come off before gladwin.

  • QPR COULD NOT BE MORE AVERAGE AGAINST CARDIFF.
Boss states the team is work in progress I say they simply lack any quality and cohesion.
All I can see is a lot of empty seats and even the owner can't be bothered to turn up for the first home game of the season.
Sorry there were no positives in that performance Ramsey was already haunted with relegation thoughts the team must be thinking the same .
No decent new players are going to want to come to the Rangers with this attitude in the camp.
No money for quality players simply asking Les to find basement buys hoping for a good find like scouring a car boot sale.
It's a farce and the QPR bubble has burst.

Don't kid us all with new training facilities and a 40,000 seat new stadium Fernandez and Co must thing we were all born yesterday.

So low crowds expectations and aspirations.

Apart from that alls fine the hardcore fan like me will set are sights lower which is a shame. What happened to this Fernandez plan he's reached his peak and now on a downhill slope in all his business ventures.

Unfortunately he is getting old and no one sees him as a go getter any more,
