Conte wants midfield duo and his brother to join him at Chelsea, reports say

Antonio Conte wants his brother Gianluca to join him at Chelsea, The Sun reports.

Gianluca Conte has worked as a behind-the-scenes tactical analyst while his brother has coached Bari, Juventus and now Italy.

And The Sun say Conte, who is widely reported to be set to take over as Blues boss, is keen for his brother to be part of his backroom team at Stamford Bridge.

A number of newspapers, including The Times, report that Conte has also recommended Roma midfielders Miralem Pjanic, 25, and Radja Nainggolan, 27, as potential signings for Chelsea.

Reports in the Italian media say Conte will take over at the Bridge after this summer’s European Championships and that his appointment is close to being confirmed.

Meanwhile, winger Ezequiel Lavezzi has told Chinese media that he snubbed a possible move to Chelsea when he recently joined Hebei China Fortune from Paris St-Germain.

“I could have signed for Inter, Chelsea or Manchester United but I took the decision to leave for China,” he said.
