Celebrities and former Fulham stars to play in charity match

Former Fulham favourites will take on a team of celebrities managed by actor Sean Bean in a charity match at Craven Cottage in May.

The game will raise funds for both the Fulham FC Foundation and the children’s hospice Shooting Star Chase, which is the club’s local charity partner.

Sean Davis, the only man to play for the Whites in all of the top four divisions, will captain the Fulham All Stars.

He said: “My last competitive game at Craven Cottage was back in 2003 and I still have such great memories of playing there.

“I am looking forward to recruiting Fulham legends to form a formidable team as we take on Sean Bean’s Celebrity All Stars.

“All proceeds will go towards Shooting Star Chase and Fulham FC Foundation, two worthy local charities so come down and show your support.

“It’s going to be a great day and I can’t wait to play and catch up with some of the club’s former players as well as the fans.”

The two teams of ex-professionals and well-known names, all giving their time for free, will be announced in due course.

Shooting Star Chase, which has a hospice in Hampton, supports families with a child or teenager who has a life-limiting condition.

Advance tickets for the match, priced at £12 for adults and £5 for under 16s, are on sale at www.fulhamfc.com/tickets. Alternatively, you can phone the 24-hour line on 0843 208 1234, and press option one, or buy in person at the club’s ticket office.

Adult ticket prices will increase to £15 on the day of the match.
