QPR chairman chases signings but insists ‘we have learnt’

Tony Fernandes has told QPR fans on Twitter that the club are working on potential transfers but are determined not to repeat past mistakes.

Fans are keen for the club to spend again during this month’s transfer window, with a striker seen as a priority.

Fernandes and manager Harry Redknapp are looking to sign at least one forward, with a number of possible deals are being assessed.

But the chairman insists Rangers will be careful before adding to the squad.

Fernandes tweeted: “We working hard on a couple of transfers. But want the right sort. Not going to take anyone. Spirit in camp is great. We have learnt.”
