More Shaw speculation and Chelsea prospect is tipped to sign new deal

Speculation over the future of Southampton star Luke Shaw continues, with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly battling to sign him.

The Daily Mirror suggest a tweet by Ashley Cole was a hint at Chelsea’s determination to bring in Shaw to replace him at left-back.

Responding to a message congratulating him on his display against Stoke on Sunday, Cole wrote: “Just don’t get used to it.”

The Daily Telegraph say United and Chelsea are likely to wait until the summer to fight over Shaw, as do The Independent and The Sun.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail claim United want St Etienne’s Kurt Zouma but believe the defender is heading to Chelsea.

And The Sun say Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz is set to sign a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge and then leave on loan after being offered to Championship clubs.
