Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd and Man City all want Saints star – report

Speculation over Luke Shaw’s future continues and it is suggested in the Mail on Sunday that Southampton could sell him for more than £30m this week.

Chelsea are interested in the teenage left-back, who has also been linked with Manchester City and Manchester United.

It is claimed that Tottenham are also keen on him but are likely to be put off by the possible price.

The Sunday Mirror claim United have offered £22m for Shaw and put the onus onto Chelsea and perhaps City to also table an offer.

Shaw signed a five-year-contract at St Mary’s last summer.

Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday report that Chelsea are likely to sell Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Sunday Mirror say Lukaku will be sold to help fund a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who would apparently cost more than £50m.

The same newspaper again links AC Milan’s former Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli with a possible move to Chelsea.

The Sunday Express claim former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson played a role in talks to help the club clinch the signing of Juan Mata from Chelsea, and that Wayne Rooney will end the Blues’ hopes of signing him by agreeing a new deal at Old Trafford.

The Mail say United will never sell Rooney to Chelsea and that the Blues will pay £20m to beat Liverpool to the signing of Mohamed Salah from Basel.
