Chelsea should see off Norwich but it might be close

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 11 games in all competitions against Saturday’s opponents Norwich City and you have to go back almost 21 years (December 1994) for the last time the Canaries beat the Blues.

That said, this is the first time Chelsea have lost three games in a row since 1999 and they know they cannot afford to slip up again at the weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s side are 2/5 to pick up all three points, with Norwich 8/1 at BetVictor with the draw at 19/5.

The visitors only went down to a late penalty at Manchester City in their last league game on the road and they are a useful outfit under a very good young manager in Alex Neil.

Indeed it might be closer than the betting would suggest, and the recommendation is for the game to be level at half-time and for Chelsea to eventually win – that’s 10/3.

Meanwhile, the top London club in the Championship remains a fascinating market with only one point between the three west London sides.

QPR 7/4
Brentford 7/4
Fulham 2/1
Charlton 20/1

Where would your pound go?

Fulham travel to MK Dons this weekend. The hosts are 6/4 with the Whites 19/10 and the draw at 5/2.

MK have lost four of their last five matches but did beat Charlton in their last home game, having conceded eight in their last two Championship games

Fulham will be looking to keep it tight given they always have the capacity to nick a goal and I fancy them to win this one – they’re 19/10.

Brentford entertain Nottingham Forest and are 13/10 to win with the visitors 9/4 and the draw 5/2.

Forest come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win against rivals Derby but this is a game the Bees should pick up maximum points from.
