Chelsea should see off Everton – and can Hazard achieve a career first?

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 21 home Premier League games against Everton and it is hard to see past another home win at the Bridge on Saturday with the Blues in such excellent form at present.

Everton played well, especially in the second half, and fully deserved their win against West Ham on Sunday.

But they will certainly miss the energy and drive of Idrissa Gueye, and with James McCarthy and Mo Besic injured it could be a long evening in west London for the visitors.

Chelsea are big favourites at 8/15 to win this one, with the visitors 11/2 and the draw 17/5.

John Terry’s 97th-minute equaliser rescued a point in the corresponding game last season, but this is a different Chelsea side.

Eden Hazard has scored in his last three Premier League games and has never scored in four successive matches in his career to date.

Can he do it? We have him at 5/1 to score the opener and 5/4 to score at any time in the game.

QPR, meanwhile, are struggling. In fact they were so poor at Loftus Road in their home defeat by Brentford they are in to 6/1 with BetVictor to be relegated.

I reckon that’s unlikely to happen – unthinkable even – but I do feel they need to get something from Saturday’s trip to Nottingham Forest to calm any fears of being involved in a battle to avoid the drop.

Forest have lost their last three and have won just one of their last 11 matches, but they are 13/10 favourites to win this weekend, with Rangers 2/1 and the draw at 12/5.

Idrissa Sylla and Sebastian Polter are both priced at 7/1 to open the scoring in this game and I can see goals.

There have been 30 goals scored in Forest’s first seven Championship games this season and the recommendation must be for both sides to find the back of the net, which is 4/6.

Have a good weekend everyone.
