Transfer gossip: Chelsea watching Conti, reports claim

Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea.

The Sun have picked up reports that Chelsea scouts have watched Atalanta right-back Andrea Conti.

It follows recent speculation linking the 22-year-old with a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

Gazzetta dello Sport suggested that Blues scouts watched a game against Crotone to check on Conti rather than his team-mate Franck Kessie, who has been touted for a move to Chelsea.

Conti would be available for £12.8m, it is claimed.

Blues in Bernardo talks – Sunday Times

Over the weekend, the Sunday Times claimed Chelsea have begun talks to sign Portugal international Bernardo Silva from Monaco.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has been touted in the French media for a move to one of Europe’s top clubs this summer.

And the Sunday Times say he has been targeted by Chelsea, that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is also an admirer and that Manchester City and Manchester United are interested as well.

The newspaper added that Monaco are looking for at least €80m (around £68.4m) for Bernardo, who can play through the middle or on either wing.

Dembele link continues

Chelsea continue to be linked with Celtic’s former Fulham forward Moussa Dembele.

The Blues were reported to be interested in Dembele during the last two transfer windows despite not making an approach during either.

Now the Sunday Mirror have claimed Bayern Munich are lining up a £30m offer for the 20-year-old and that Chelsea are among the other clubs keen to sign him.
