Chelsea look likely to miss out on midfielder – report
Chelsea look set to miss out on Porto’s James Rodriguez in January, the Daily Express say.
It is claimed they are interested in signing the Colombian midfelder but Porto are unwilling to sell.
The Daily Telegraph report that Chelsea are at the centre of a row with Nottingham Forest over Sam Hutchinson’s knee injury.
Hutchinson, on loan at the Championship club, has been out of action since September.
Meanwhile, Adel Taarabt is set to snub Harry Redknapp and join up with the Morocco squad for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations, according to the Daily Mirror.
It has been claimed that QPR midfielder Samba Diakite is ready to snub Mali and that boss Redknapp asked Taarabt not to play in the tournament.
Now it is suggested that Taarabt will ignore the supposed plea and represent his country.
The Daily Mail say Rangers are interested in Udinese’s Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Badu.
