Chelsea are improving but the punters fancy Tottenham
It’s a high-noon kick-off for Chelsea against Tottenham on Sunday and after back-to-back wins and clean sheets we can definitely say the Blues are back if they win this one.
However, Spurs are 6/4 favourites for Sunday’s game with Chelsea 19/10 and the draw 5/2.
Jose Mourinho’s side would have been odds-on for this at the beginning of the season despite their 5-3 reverse in the corresponding fixture on New Year’s Day. How times have changed. [phone][/phone]
Spurs have only lost two of their last 20 home league games and are unbeaten since the opening day, so this one promises to be a cracker.
Eden Hazard has scored in his last three league games against Spurs and is 15/2 to grab the opener and 12/5 to find the back of the net at some time during the 90 minutes.
I think it will be fast and furious with a point a good return for the Blues.
Incidentally, Tottenham have been well backed for the Premier League title in recent weeks and we’ve cut them from 33/1 to 16/1.
And the market for top London club is fascinating. We bet:
Arsenal: 1/5
Spurs: 5/1
Chelsea: 12/1
Arsenal are worthy favourites – but 1/5?!
