Zenit want Chelsea stalwart Ivanovic

Zenit St Petersburg have expressed an interest in signing Branislav Ivanovic.

The 32-year-old defender has been a key player for Chelsea during nine trophy-laden years at Stamford Bridge.

But Ivanovic has not been a first-team regular this season and is expected to move on.

He was left out of the matchday squad for Chelsea’s win against Hull at the weekend.

Ivanovic’s contract at the Bridge is due to expire in the summer.
