No Silva in Chelsea’s squad for Krasnodar trip

Thiago Silva and Kepa Arrizabalaga have not travelled with the Chelsea squad to southern Russia for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Krasnodar.

The Blues will be without veteran defender Silva, while keeper Kepa is still struggling with a shoulder problem.

Kepa’s absence means there is a place in the squad for academy youngster Karlo Ziger.

Marcos Alonso, meanwhile, is suspended for the Group E match.

Blues boss Frank Lampard is due to speak at a press conference at the Krasnodar Stadium at around 5.30pm UK time.
