Young Chelsea striker heads out on loan

Chelsea forward Joao Rodriguez has returned to his native Colombia for a year-long loan at Bogota-based Sante Fe.

The 20-year-old joined the Blues in July 2013 from Deportes Quindio, after impressing on trial.[phone][/phone]

He has since been loaned out to Uniautonoma in Colombia, French side Bastia, Vitoria de Setubal in Portugal and Belgian outfit Sint-Truiden.

Rodriguez, a Colombian Under-20 international, will be with Santa Fe for the whole of the 2016-17 season.
