Pulis not interested in signing Ivanovic

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has ruled out a move for Branislav Ivanovic.

Zenit St Petersburg have expressed an interest in signing the Chelsea defender, who could leave after nine years at Stamford Bridge.

Reports claimed Pulis was also interested in Ivanovic and later claimed he had made an approach to sign him ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

The speculation was fuelled by Pulis attending Chelsea’s FA Cup match against Brentford on Saturday, when Ivanovic was among the Blues’ scorers in 4-0 win.

But Pulis has insisted he has never been in the running to sign the 32-year-old.

Pulis said: “That’s a definite no. He’s a good player and has done fantastic, but he’s never been on my radar.”
