Wednesday sign Chelsea man on loan

Sheffield Wednesday have signed defender Sam Hutchinson from Chelsea on a month’s loan.

The 24-year-old had a loan spell at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem earlier this season and was at Nottingham Forest last term.

He is eligibleto make his Wednersday debut against Charlton in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Hutchinson retired in 2010 because of a knee injury but made a surprise recovery and returned to Chelsea to sign an 18-month contract in December 2012.
