Transfer gossip: Chelsea linked with Uruguayan youngster

Chelsea have been linked with Uruguay Under-18 captain Sebastian Caceres.
The defender (pictured above on the right), who recently turned 18 and plays for Uruguayan top-flight club Liverpool FC, has been linked with a number of European clubs in recent months.
And The Sun say Chelsea and Premier League rivals Liverpool have both sent scouts to watch the player.
He was previously tipped to join Dutch club Feyenoord and has also been linked with Manchester City.
Akkaynak also linked
The Daily Express claim Chelsea are keen to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Atakan Akkaynak.
Again, the story is based on a Blues scout apparently watching the player’s team in action, with Chelsea having sent someone to a recent Leverkusen game.
The Express claim the scout was there to watch Akkaynak, 19, and that Barcelona are also keen.
Akkaynak is under contract until 2019 and it is claimed that Leverkusen could be willing to sell.
Costa speculation
Speculation continues over the future of out-of-favour Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
Various reports suggest talks are ongoing to try to thrash out a deal for Costa to return to his former club Atletico Madrid in January.
