Torres likely to be out for three weeks
Chelsea believe Fernando Torres will be out for around three weeks with the knee injury he suffered against Steaua Bucharest.
Torres limped off 11 minutes into the Champions League clash and a scan has subsequently revealed he sustained only medial ligament damage.
The news is a boost for boss Jose Mourinho, as the Spaniard is one of only three out-and-out strikers in the Chelsea squad.
The Blues recently lost midfielder Marco van Ginkel to a long-term knee injury but the club’s medical staff were confident that Torres’ problem was not as serious.
