Terry could miss Newcastle clash

John Terry is a doubt for Chelsea’s match against Newcastle this weekend.

The Blues skipper picked up a neck strain during Wednesday’s home win over Reading and is struggling to be fit in time for the Magpies’ visit to Stamford Bridge.

Terry faces a fitness test ahead of the game but the chances of him featuring seem to be declining.

But David Luiz, who missed the Reading game because of a knee complaint, is expected to be available.

Chelsea are still without summer signing Marko Marin, who is recovering from a hamstring problem.
