‘No chance’ Hazard will leave Chelsea

Jose Mourinho believes there is “no chance” of Eden Hazard leaving Chelsea.

French club Paris St-Germain are reported to be preparing a huge bid to sign the Belgian playmaker this summer.

But Mourinho insists he has no fears that he could lose Hazard, who cost £32m when he was signed from Lille in 2012.

“I am not worried,” said the Blues boss.

Mourinho is confident Hazard will stay.

“If the value was around 40million when Chelsea bought him, then two years later if he is two or three times better then his value in the market is crazy.

“On top of that, he is not a player Chelsea are interested in selling.

“Because we are not a club that sells, and because of the crazy amount, I think there is no chance he is going to leave.”

But Mourinho confirmed that Kevin de Bruyne is close to being sold.

The midfielder, a target for German club Wolfsburg, has made it clear that he wants a move.

“We know Kevin is a fantastic young player with fantastic potential. I still say I would be happy to keep him,” Mourinho said.

“But you also have to analyse the player’s pride and personality, and he probably wants to go so much it s maybe a good option to let him go and it’s a very good deal for the club from a financial point of view.”
