Mourinho yet to make decision on Hazard

Hazard was a substitute for Saturday's win against Aston Villa

Jose Mourinho said today that he had not yet decided whether to select Eden Hazard for Saturday’s derby at West Ham.

The Chelsea boss dropped Hazard for last weekend’s win against Aston Villa and later insisted the Belgian needed to improve his work-rate in order to win his place back.

Hazard was recalled for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev. However, when asked if he planned to pick him this weekend, Mourinho replied: “I don’t know.”

Mourinho also refused to comment when asked at his pre-match news conference for his opinion on why Hazard’s form has slipped this season.

“I don’t have to answer you,” Mourinho said. “Lots of people with an opinion have been speaking about him. I prefer not to individualise.

“I am happy with his contribution against Dynamo and that’s it.”

Meanwhile, Mourinho confirmed that Pedro and Loic Remy will again be unavailable on Saturday.
