Mourinho: Salah could face Man City

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has not ruled out the possibility of Mohamed Salah making his debut in Monday’s crucial match against Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The Blues will go level on points with City if they win at Etihad Stadium, although Arsenal could be top of the table by then.

When asked if winger Salah, who has joined from Basel, will feature Mourinho said: “Let’s see.

“He had a winter break and has not been playing for quite a long time. He was training with the team in the camp but after that he stopped and had to get a visa to come to the country.

“He came yesterday and trained today [Friday] for the first time. I don’t know.”

Meanwhile, Mourinho said there is no chance that striker Fernando Torres will be fit to face City.

The Spaniard has a knee injury sustained after coming on a substitute in the win over Manchester United.
