Mourinho: Everyone fit for Schalke game

Jose Mourinho says Chelsea have no injury concerns ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Schalke.

Cesc Fabregas was nursing a hamstring problem before passing a fitness test to play in Saturday’s 2-0 win at home to West Brom.

The midfielder came through unscathed, while his fellow Spain international Diego Costa appears to have now fully recovered from his own hamstring problem.

“Diego, there is nothing, and Fabregas it looks like no big deal,” confirmed Blues boss Mourinho, who has warned his side against complacency ahead of the Group G game.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech hurt his back in the warm-up on Saturday but is expected to be named in the squad again, while Ramires is likely to be available despite not quite being fully fit following a recent injury.

A win in Germany would seal Chelsea’s place in the knockout stage, while their superior goal difference means a draw would all but guarantee their progression.
