Jose dismisses Falcao exit reports and denies Yarmolenko interest

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao
Jose Mourinho has dismissed speculation that he is interested in Andriy Yarmolenko and that Radamel Falcao could leave Chelsea in January.

Dynamo Kiev wide-man Yarmolenko, 26, will face Mourinho’s side in Tuesday’s Champions League clash.

He is one of several players to have been linked with Chelsea after Mourinho travelled to Kiev to watch an international match between Ukraine and Spain last week.

However, pointing to the number of wingers he currently has at his disposal, the Blues boss said: “We cannot make a collection of wingers.”

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Falcao could make an early exit from Stamford Bridge, with the striker having been unable to establish himself in the first team since his season-long loan move from Monaco.

But Mourinho said: “I speak with Falcao every day. It’s quite strange the press know something that I don’t know and my club doesn’t know.”

Mourinho also confirmed that Pedro and Loic Remy have been left out of the squad for Tuesday’s game because both players are nursing minor injuries.
