Antonio Conte says Alvaro Morata is already “totally involved” in Chelsea’s style of play.

The Spaniard, who joined from Real Madrid in the summer, scored his third goal in four Premier League appearances as Chelsea beat Leicester on Saturday.

He made his debut as a substitute in the Community Shield against Arsenal and then scored after coming off the bench on his league debut against Burnley.

Morata then netted against Everton and has also been credited with two assists, but Conte revealed the in-form forward is likely to be rested for Champions League game against Qarabag at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Boss Conte said: “He is playing very well, scoring and is totally involved in our style of football.

“He is improving a lot but he played the whole game with Spain and then the whole game against Leicester. I have to check many situations and then make the best decision.”
