Man City v Chelsea line-ups: No Kante, no striker, youngster on bench, City trio out


Chelsea are without N’Golo Kante at the Etihad Stadium, where they will start without an out and out striker.

Kante is absent from the Blues’ matchday squad, reportedly because of illness, while Gary Cahill has been left out of the side again.

Cahill is joined on the substitutes’ bench by strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud and youngster Trevoh Chalobah.

Eden Hazard is set to lead Chelsea’s attack once again, supported by Willian and Pedro.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling misses out for City, who are also without the injured Fernandinho and the suspended Fabian Delph. But Kyle Walker has been passed fit and starts.
