Hazard will miss Europa League final
Eden Hazard will miss the Europa League final.
The Chelsea playmaker picked up a hamstring injury during Saturday’s win at Aston Villa and will not recover in time for the Blues’ clash with Benfica in Amsterdam.
But Chelsea are still hoping that John Terry will be available for Wednesday’s game despite the skipper being carried off on a stretcher at Villa Park.
Terry, who missed last season’s Champions League triumph through suspension, is nursing an ankle injury and will be assessed of the match.
Both players travelled with the Chelsea squad along with John Obi Mikel and Ryan Bertrand.
Mikel has missed the last four matches with a hip complaint, while Bertrand has had a knee problem.
