Injured Estevao to miss Newcastle game

Estevao Willian has been ruled out of Chelsea’s game against Newcastle on Saturday.

The Brazilian teenager was not in the squad for the Carabao Cup quarter-final win at Cardiff.

Head coach Enzo Maresca subsequently revealed that Estevao was nursing a “small muscle problem”.

Chelsea are hoping he will be available for the home game against Aston Villa on 27 December.

“He won’t be available for Newcastle. We will see for the next one,” Maresca said.
