Hasselbaink snaps up Chelsea youngster

Chelsea youngster Billy Clifford has joined Royal Antwerp on loan for the rest of the season.

The Belgian second-tier club are managed by former Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who took over last year.

Clifford, 21, can play in central midfield or on the right flank and has had previous loan spells at Colchester and Yeovil.

He signed a four-year-contract at Stamford Bridge in September 2011 and was member of Chelsea’s 2010 FA Youth Cup-winning side.
