Guiu leaves Chelsea for RB Leipzig

Marc Guiu has completed a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

The 20-year-old striker made 29 appearances for Chelsea after his move from Barcelona in 2024, scoring eight goals, six of which came during the club’s Conference League-winning campaign in 2024-25.

He fell out of the squad picture entirely under Xabi Alonso this season, left out for both the opening-day defeat by Fulham and the League Cup win over Luton Town.

Guiu is the fourth striker to leave Chelsea in the space of a few days, with Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and David Fofana having also moved on.
