Four Chelsea youngsters feature in England Under-19 win

Chelsea’s Marc Guehi scored as England opened their Under-19 European Championship qualifying campaign with a 4-1 win over the Czech Republic.

Guehi (pictured) was one of four Blues youngsters to feature in the game at St George’s Park – Conor Gallagher also started, while Tariq Lamptey and George McEachran came on as substitutes.

After Bukayo Saka of Arsenal equalised following a Czech goal against the run of play, England went ahead when Gallagher’s shot was nudged in from close range by Guehi.

Saka scored again and Lamptey created the fourth goal, crossing from the left for Reading’s Danny Loader to apply the finish.

Fulham’s Steven Sessegnon and former Chelsea player Jonathan Panzo, now with Monaco, also played.
