Four Chelsea youngsters feature in England Under-19 defeat

Four Chelsea youngsters and Fulham’s Steven Sessegnon featured as England’s Under-19 side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Greece in a European Championship qualifier.

Marc Guehi (pictured), Conor Gallagher and Tariq Lamptey started the game at St George’s Park, as did Sessegnon, while Chelsea’s George McEachran came on as a second-half substitute.

England were unable to find an equaliser after Morgan Gibbs-White of Wolves pulled a goal back from the penalty spot.

It means qualification for this summer’s tournament in Armenia is now out of England’s hands.

They will miss out unless they beat Denmark on Tuesday and Greece fail to beat the Czech Republic.
