West Ham manager David Moyes says he plans to make changes for his side’s game against Chelsea because of the way the Blues play.

The Hammers, one off the bottom of the Premier League table, lost 2-1 at Manchester City last time out but their battling performance suggested they are capable of turning their season around.

Moyes is looking for more of the same from his players but will make adjustments for Saturday’s derby.

He explained: “Tactically, Manchester City play with two high and wide wingers in Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling, but Chelsea don’t.

“They play with three at the back and two wing-backs and one forward with Eden Hazard dropped in behind.

“That change means we can’t set up the same, but we need a similar performance to get ourselves a result. Tactically, we’ll have to be slightly different to give ourselves a chance.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says he is surprised West Ham have struggled this season.

And Blues midfielder Danny Drinkwater is unavailable for this weekend’s match because of illness.
