Conte: Blues will not change for Lukaku

Antonio Conte has insisted his team selection for the FA Cup final will not be affected by whether or not Romelu Lukaku starts for Manchester United.

Former Chelsea man Lukaku has been struggling with an ankle injury and faces a late fitness test before the game at Wembley.

Anthony Martial is available for United after a knee injury suffered in training.

United’s former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho confirmed: “Anthony Martial is fit but with Lukaku we have to wait.”

But Blues boss Conte says the outcome of Lukaku’s fitness test will have no bearing on Chelsea’s line-up.

He said: “We don’t change. You don’t change your plan or preparations for one player.

“If Lukaku is not playing what that means is that they have another important striker – (Marcus) Rashford for example could play.”

Meanwhile, Conte has refused to reveal whether Thibaut Courtois or Willy Caballero will be in goal for the Blues.
