Chelsea Under-18s maintain unbeaten start

Miro Muehim scored twice as Chelsea’s Under-18s maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 win at home to Southampton.

Isaac Christie-Davies also scored in the game at the Blues’ Cobham training ground, where Muheim put the hosts ahead with an easy finish after Jacob Maddox’s shot had been spilled by the keeper.

Southampton’s Harley Willard hit the post before Muheim’s fine strike made it 2-0.

And after Willard had pulled a goal back with a cracking effort, Christie-Davies’ goal sealed Chelsea’s victory.

The result means the young Blues have won three and drawn one of their opening four matches this season.

Their next match is away to Leicester City next Saturday.
