Chelsea’s Solanke scores in England Under-20 win

Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke scored as England’s Under-20 side rounded off their Four Nations-winning campaign with a 2-0 victory against the United States.

After a late goal from Ovie Ejaria of Liverpool broke the deadlock, striker Solanke sealed the win from the penalty spot with virtually the last kick of the match.[phone][/phone]

It meant three wins out of three for the Young Lions, who also beat Germany and the Netherlands.

Defender Jake Clarke-Salter, currently on loan at Bristol Rovers from Chelsea, also featured in the game at Rochdale’s Spotland ground.

Another Blues youngster, Fikayo Tomori, was an unused substitute.
