Transfer gossip: Chelsea linked with Celta Vigo midfielder Veig

Some of the transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Wednesday’s newspapers…

Chelsea are keen on Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veig and are likely to sell Kai Havertz, according to reports.

The Guardian say Chelsea have entered talks to sign Veiga, 21, and are ready to let Havertz go after he expressed a desire to leave.

Veiga (pictured) reportedly has a £34m release clause and is said to also be a target for Liverpool and Barcelona.

Meanwhile, The Times link Havertz with a potential move to Real Madrid.

The newspaper say Real could make a move for Havertz if they are unable to land Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The Sun pick up on reports in France claiming that Chelsea are among clubs interested in signing Brazilian superstar Neymar, who has been tipped to leave Paris St-Germain.

Chelsea have been tipped to table a bid for Moises Caicedo – the Daily Telegraph say Brighton want more than £70m for the midfielder.

And the Daily Mail say Chelsea are interested in 18-year-old Senegalese defender Mikayil Faye, who plays for Kustosija in Croatia
