Judge scores as Bees youngsters beat Chelsea

Alan Judge has been working his way back to fitness

Alan Judge scored for Brentford’s B team in a 3-0 win over Chelsea’s development side, whose goalkeeper Nicolas Tie was carried off on a stretcher.

Chiedozie Ogbene and Reece Cole also scored in the friendly at Brentford’s Osterley training ground, where Bees star Judge played as part of his comeback after a long-term injury.

The visitors had chances, with Richard Nartey hitting the post and Brentford keeper Luke Daniels producing saves to deny Kylian Hazard and Daishawn Redan.

Tie seemed to suffer a nasty shoulder injury after falling awkwardly while attempting to save a shot from Judge 10 minutes before half-time.

The French 17-year-old, who joined Chelsea last summer, received several minutes of treatment from both sides’ medical staff before eventually being led away.
