Chelsea transfer gossip: Blues believe Loftus-Cheek will opt to stay – Telegraph

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea are hopeful that they can persuade Ruben Loftus-Cheek that his future lies at the club, the Daily Telegraph reports.

There has been much speculation about the England midfielder, with Crystal Palace, where he spent last season on loan, among several clubs keen to snap him up.

Reports recently tipped Loftus-Cheek to seek another loan move when the transfer window reopens in January, having been overlooked by Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.

But the Telegraph now reports that Chelsea believe Loftus-Cheek will choose to stay after making his first Premier League start, against Wolves, this week.

Sarri recently insisted that there is “no chance” of Loftus-Cheek leaving.

Speculation over Hazard’s future continues

There are again reports in Spain claiming that Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with Eden Hazard.

Reports in Spain claimed on several occasions during the summer transfer window that a deal had been agreed for the Chelsea star to move to Real.

However, no approach was made and, as Hazard is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020, he would not be permitted to hold talks with another club without Chelsea’s permission.

Even so., Onda Madrid, as reported by Spanish newspaper AS, claim Real have reached an agreement with Hazard and now need to do so with Chelsea in order for the move to go through.

Sarri has said that Hazard can end the speculation over his future by signing a new contract.

That led to the Express claiming that Hazard has been offered a deal worth £15.6m in order to snub a move to Real.
