Sarri in the spotlight after Chelsea slump

There continues to be speculation over Maurizio Sarri’s position in the wake of Chelsea’s recent 4-0 thrashing at Bournemouth.
The Daily Mail say the head coach did not travel home on the team coach after the game and was instead driven by car back to London.
The Italian is reported to have accused his players of ignoring his instructions during the game.
The Mail say sources have insisted that Sarri travelled by car so he could assess the defeat away from the noise of the team.
But the newspaper suggests he was “visibly dismayed” and that “his unusual decision could indicate a disharmony between the head coach and his players.”
Sarri, who asked his backroom staff to leave the dressing room so he could speak to the players, is said to have asked the squad if they feel he is the reason for recent poor results.
The Times run a similar story, declaring that Sarri appeared “plagued by self doubt” and “unusually insecure and vulnerable” while asking his players if he was the reason for their woeful display.
The Times also say club owner Roman Abramovich has sent text messages to Sarri asking for an explanation for Chelsea’s recent slump.
The Daily Telegraph, meanwhile, say Chelsea star Eden Hazard was singled out for criticism during the dressing-room meeting, with Sarri apparently accusing him in particular of failing to follow instructions.
The Guardian and The Sun both run stories suggesting that Sarri’s job is safe for now but that there are concerns over his style of play.

I see that Sarri is running out of his mind. insisting to play Jorginho in Defensive midfield role is not a right decision for him. Jorginho mistakes has been exposed and every team already know how to hold him down. So it time for Sarri to make some changes in his formation. Secondly, we need fresh legs in the team…… he should start playing Odoi, Cheek.

How about David Liuz playing in Jorgino role? He can make mistakes in central defence but he can defend and is a beter technical passer than Kante.

Simply bench Jorginho for Loftus, restore Kante to his rightful position and develop the right attitude towards Eden. Sarri u must know that Chelsea is bigger than u. Do ur job well or else the big man will certainly put u in ur rightful position. Be careful.

Sarri is to blame for Chelsea’s abysmal performance because of his refusal to play Kante in his proper position as a defensive midfielder and for sticking with Jorginho who should be on the bench and should be behind Loftus Cheek on the pecking order. Jorginho is simply a liability to Chelsea. If Sarri doesn’t take time, he will be shown the door soon.

I don’t think this post got to them if it does he (Sari) should know by now that Jorginho is useless to the team, or does it means he doesn’t see things the way we fans are seeing it or he sees it he just choose to ignore them, because if he Sari knows how we fans feel any time Chelsea looses match even honorably it breaks our hearts, even some of us do have nightmares not to talk of this miserable lost against a team like Bournemouth Haa what a disgrace, he should find something to do about it we Chelsea fan we don’t want to see Chelsea below top 4 comes the end of the season full stop

EPL is not suitable for Sarri-ball. Jorginho should leave Kante as natural 4. May be Sarri wants to leave Chelseafc. Sardi’s style is boring and predictable.

Is not all about redeploying kante to his original position. Looking at the team itself, the teams lacks leadership, during the game against Bournemouth, we hardly create chances, and the team is so reliant on hazard than team work. U think when the stops expecting much from eden that’s when we are a step near to the solution.

Sari is going to ruin Chelsea full stop he is totally clueless!!! He wont go against the player he brought with him for all that money he has to make it justifiable the fact that he advised Chelsea to sign Jorghino and bring him with him in the first place. Sari will change the team around when its too late playing Kante out of the one position he is great at and not playing Barkley, Loftous Cheek and Odoi the whole thing its a total shambles and the sooner he goes the better because we are all going to suffer from it that everyone that really cares that is. Oh and look at what this is all doing to the players young and old

Sarri make chelsea player are playing romantic game with high possession without goal, the attacking result is very poor which causes as result of Jorginho playing Ngolo Kante role. I wonder why Sarri still using Jorginho as holding midfielder. look at how holding midfield was expose during Bournemouth match simply b/c Jorginho doesn’t have the gas to run front and come’s back to defense. Pls bring Kante back to his normal position.

I thaugh Sarri will learn a lesson from Tottemham match against Chelsea, when Jorginho allowed Son to run with the ball from the edge to the goal kick position which let to a goal; what an embarrassment it’s! pls bench Jorginho, use Loftus-Cheek and bring Ngolo Kante back to his normal position.

I see no reason why sarri is still playing jorginho base on my little purview if sarri still stick with jorginho that will jeopardize our top four Chance, due to the fact that the guy lack vision no decisive pass no defense splitting pass no natural quality to orchestrate the midfield we need to offensive left and right full with bag of attacking impetus.

I think its time for Sarri to change formation,get back Kante to the holding midfield and pair him with Barkley and Loftus Cheek,bring in Odoi for Pedro and hopefully we gonna get results Chelsea deserve(Kepa,Azpi,Alonso,Luiz,Rudiger,Kante,Çheek,Barkley,Odoi,Higuain,Hazard)then I think we can enjoy it

The problem is the execution of the system, not the system itself. How many times have we created chances and not finished? How many times have the players’ movement, passing, and individual errors let us down? There is a lack of leadership and fight on the pitch. Ask yourself, “Would JT, Lamps, or Drogba let the team go down 4-Nil without a fight?” This will be the 3rd manager who has mentioned the players’ mentality (Mourinho, Conte, and now Sarri). Sarri isn’t without blame but it really falls down to the players!

SARRI’S FAILURE TO BENCH JOGINHO WILL COST HIM HIS JOB. JOGINHO IS CHELSEA’S PROBLEM. I SEE NO REASON SARRI CANNOT PAIR KANTE AND HIM. JOGINHO CANT HOLD THE MID-FIELD, HE CANT SHOOT, HE CANT DEFEND, HE CANT RUN, HE CANT ASSIST. TERRIBLE. CHELSEA DID NOT BUY KANTE TO ATTACK BUT TO DEFEND AND SARRI NEEDS TO BE TOLD.

What l think is, Sarri should withdraw his word’s against Hazard,he should go if he want to. B allow kante to HM, C 4 5 1 information will help the team to allowed Hazard play behind the striker. Forget Pedro Odooi will bring the goal need just trust him.

Sarri is the problem. He should occasionally alter his formation as he has become too predictable. Conte popularized the 3 -4 -3 formation which was very successful, but at some point he adopted other formation to prevent being predictable.

whenever I see Chelsea’s line up for for certain games, I just know that, Chelsea will fail. The line up that led to these massive loss was Sari’s own making . Playing Emerson and higuian at same time was one problem I saw. They are all new to first team. And again is an away game. I also keep asking myself, why does sarri keep playing Joginio in kante’s possition. If must play him, why not move him further in front of kante and allow kante to play is usual position.

Sari should listen to people around the world that are lovers of Chelsea. ….He constantly plays jojinho knowing fully well that he can’t run and can not mark, rather he passes zigzag instead of moving the ball quickly forward.
If sari refuse to head to the advice of benching jojinho, then it will be difficult to make top 4 and by the time he decides to bench him, it will be too late.
